About Dr. Wollet

Hailing from Ocala, Florida, Dr. Benjamin Wollet recently joined the care team at San Antonio Podiatry Associates. Dr. Wollett completed his undergraduate studies at University of Central Florida. He went on to continue his education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine where he was awarded multiple scholarships and was invited into the Pi Delta National Honor Society. 

  • He completed his residency at INOVA Fairfax Medical Center in Northern Virginia, where he  received extensive training in:

  • Complex deformity reconstruction
  • Diabetic limb preservation
  • Arthroscopy
  • Joint replacement
  • Elective surgery

He is particularly interested in the treatment of sports injuries, bunions, heel pain, flat feet, acute and chronic injuries. He is excited to practice evidence-based medicine, and to tailor treatments to each individual patient. 

Dr. Wollett moved to San Antonio with his wife, Sarah. She is a registered nurse who most recently worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at INOVA Fairfax Medical Center as well.  He and his wife both enjoy being outdoors and exercising. Some of their favorite activities include running, hiking, surfing, biking and paddle boarding.



About Dr. Preston Panicco

Dr. Preston Panicco will be joining San Antonio Podiatry Associates in mid-October this year. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Panicco earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, and his podiatric medical degree at Kent State University in 2016. He completed a three-year residency in both diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Dr. Panicco furthered his medical training by completing an extensive one-year fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at the Foot and Ankle Institute of Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Throughout his tenure at the Foot and Ankle Institute, Dr. Panicco worked under the tutelage of highly distinguished foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Troy S. Watson. This training afforded exposure in a highly specialized setting, combining both nonoperative and operative treatment methods in a high volume clinical arena. The focus of Dr. Pannicco’s training centered on adult complex forefoot, hindfoot, and ankle reconstruction, sports related pathology, arthroscopy, and limb salvage. He also had the privilege of helping to treat collegiate athletes and professionals from the NFL, NHL, and UFC.   

Dr. Panicco is extensively trained in nonoperative and operative management of conditions affecting the foot and ankle, and has advanced surgical training in the treatment of: 

  • Foot and ankle trauma
  • Primary and revision ankle arthrodesis
  • Complex deformity reconstruction of the forefoot and hindfoot
  • Ankle arthroscopy
  • Sports medicine
  • Diabetic limb salvage

Dr. Panicco will be moving to San Antonio in October 2020 and looks forward to dedicating himself to improving the quality of patient outcomes.  Beyond patient care, he enjoys weightlifting, fitness, boating and hiking. He is also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
